Common Questions
What are the requirements to join the Doctors Preferred Dental network?
Providers must hold a current, unrestricted dental license in Utah, carry professional liability insurance, and maintain a clean malpractice history. Specialists are welcome.
How long does credentialing take?
Most applications are processed within 15–30 business days of receiving a complete application. Incomplete submissions may delay the process.
How are claims submitted?
We accept electronic claims via standard EDI 837D format through most major clearinghouses. Paper claims are also accepted but may take longer to process.
What is the reimbursement timeline?
Clean electronic claims are processed and paid within 10 business days. Paper claims are processed within 20 business days.
Can I participate as a specialist?
Absolutely. We welcome general dentists and specialists including orthodontists, periodontists, oral surgeons, endodontists, and pediatric dentists.
